FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions from Sellers

Q: Is there a cost for your services?

A: Absolutely not! There is no cost or obligation to you in order to request an offer for your
property.

Q: How long does it take to sell my land and get the money?

A: Once we receive a signed purchase agreement from you we can close in as little as
three business days. If you already received an offer from us about your property, simply
sign and return it as quickly as possible via email, mail or fax. For fastest service, after
sending us your purchase agreement, call us and tell us when you would like to close.

Q: Are there any fees if I sell my land to you?

A: Nothing! As an incentive for working with us, we are willing to pay for 100% of your closing costs on the transaction. When you sell a property, you are normally responsible for paying realtor commissions, title work, appraisal fees, property taxes, recording fees, etc…but if you work with us, we will cover ALL of these costs for you and put money in your pocket. This will save you thousands of dollars on selling your property.

Q: If I request an offer from you, am I obligated to sell you my land?

A: Absolutely not! You have nothing to lose. It doesn’t hurt to see what we can offer you for your land.

Q: I received an offer for my property but would like to try and get more for my land, are there any other options other than fast cash where I may potentially increase my offer
amount?

A: Yes, let us know what you would like to receive for your land and why you feel it is worth
that amount and complete our questionarre and we will further research if your land at that
amount fits within our investment criteria and we will have an answer for you within 48
hours.

Q: What will you do with my property? Are you going to simply hold the land, develop it or use it for some other purpose?

A: We are investors searching for land that meets our investment criteria. Our primary goal is to find a new owner for every property we purchase Depending on the holding costs and potential uses of each property, we may decide to hold the real estate for long-term investment purposes or find a new owner within the fiscal year.

Q: I lost my deed – is that OK?

A: Yes!  We will help you get a new deed.  We can obtain most required documentation from the county ourselves.

Q: What kinds of properties does Journey look for?

A: We typically deal in vacant land but we will consider properties of any size, in any condition, in any location throughout the United States. We aren’t limited to land! We are in contact with other real estate investors – so if you have a house, mobile home, mobile home park, apartment building, or commercial property that you’d like to sell, submit it!

We will be able to pass this onto our network and see if it meets the investment criteria of other real estate investors.
